I like this devotions analogy.
Houses are built brick by brick until the entire structure is complete, and this is the way walls are built between husband and wife. Each offense that you don't discuss building up a wall until you can no longer tear it down or see the other person.
So the best marriages are those that talk out each hurt and tear down each and every brick.
